Mental wellbeing of teachers: A study of factors affecting it

Abstract:
Mental wellbeing is an emotional situation which makes a man feel his worth, understand his strengths and feels satisfied and has a positive attitude towards life. This situation satisfaction and happiness is very important for teachers because they reflect the society as a whole. The future of the country is in their hands, so their wellbeing has a great impact on their classroom behavior so identifying wellbeing of teachers is important because the presence of happy teachers will help in creating a happy society through nurturing the next generation appropriately. The research was conducted on 300n teachers of Bilaspur zone with the help of mental wellbeing scale. The results showed moderate correlation between happiness and mental well being.
